Haha........so much for tempting the fates with our commentary yesterday on 14 straight days of sunshine! Last night brought some heavy rain, which was wonderful as it fell on our skylight. It came again around 7:00 for an hour or so. We woke to cloudy skies........almost a sense of relief that we did not have to rush out to see another sight! We had breakfast around 8:45 and everyone was in the same sense of laziness.......a good day for catching up on work, reading and maybe some laundry.
We complied in a truly slow fashion, finally heading out for a 'circuit' walk around Bogliasco. This is about a 30 minute walk interrupted by strategic pauses at benches along the way. The town is actually woven into a hillside of substantial topography, so walking comes with its challenges. Our first stop was at Bar Centro.......shown previously. We really like the owner, although today Andrea pointed out that his T-shirt said "I would fuck me!" Nothing like being direct!

The colors of the buildings are actually a bit more impressive without the glaring sun.
We headed back for lunch and an afternoon of rest. We actually napped for about an hour and a half, aided by a new set of rain showers on the skylight......very cozy!
By the time the aperitivo/dinner hour came around, the sun was beginning to break through. There was great enthusiasm for the weather tomorrow!
The last of the showers had moved on and we even saw a rainbow!
