An Even Shorter Trip through the First 3 Weeks of May

We are now starting to take our organizational tasks a bit more seriously!  Three weeks and quite a bit to do.  It is always somewhat surprising how we take for granted the everyday tasks that we absorb as part of our daily lives.  When you try to capture all of this and put it into a couple of suitcases for a month away from home, the details can become overwhelming......or at least it causes us to carefully plan what we will actually need.  The list for CVS gets added to every day!

The time has been an interesting mix of office work and preparation for me.......and Andrea's organization of 'all things' on the home front.  We have been busy getting check-ups at the dentist, the ophthamologist, the dermatologist, the orthopedic doc (my trigger finger), our hairdresser/barber and our PCP.........and yesterday we got Covid boosters at CVS, not really necessary.......but why not!

We are also running around like crazy trying to get the initial spring yard work done.  Yesterday we got 27 tomato plants in and 18 pepper plants.......and today it will hopefully be the flats of lettuce seedlings from the greenhouse.  We will see what Mother's Day will bring!

Actually, the impetus for pushing the gardening was given a bit of a boost this year by a trip last weekend to the Stevens Coolidge Estate in North Andover (Trustees of the Reservation).  It was a spectacular expose for their extraordinary tulip collection.

The countdown starts........one week from tomorrow (which is Mother's Day!
